I started writing poetry at a very young age. My first poem was when I was in second grade. I continued to write through high school and won state poetry competitions. I had always been a lover of the arts, but that love increased after my first child was born and I decided to pick up my camera. Thus began my Writing Art Journey. I continued to write and create art during my other careers, never thinking one day I would actually get to pursue an ART career.

Through unseen changes in my life...I now get to live my dream of writing and creating my art! I published my first book of art and poetry in November of 2017 and have other books in the works. Along with art shows, photoshoots

and now selling my art online, my dream is becoming a reality.

I am a true believer in the statement

"When One Door Closes Another Will Open" because I am living proof!
